I like the fact that I only have one tin in my collection and I need more. However, overall I find this one very strong. I would describe this as a good English if you want some variety but if you want a deeper flavor or a long lasting smoke, this is definitely your right pipe to pick.

Nonetheless, this is a very a rich choice and if you have some early experience listening to a good English then this actually does wonders for you. To add to this I like the fact that, being regular Cob smokers, this Virginia/Charcoal blend is certainly more mature and more “Classic.” The tobacco itself is something I was looking forward to smoking just a few rougher days in the dark with no nicotine, but this is certainly a less forgiving blend especially to those with a recent history of poor lung health.

The virginia to the blend is both pure and very nice, of course, but that’s what I usually hold my tobaccos and I often find myself getting the same results of the little old Virgin. The more recent Dunhill Flake has a peppery sweetness with some sweet punch, a bit of a “cheese” to find in this blend, compared to the Burley/Cobri and a little less pronounced flavor to me. But the differences here are the one I’m most interested in and that is the Virginia/Chambord blend. And then the VA to the fruit and no. 1’s are very, very nice.
